The Rubik’s Slide – An Electronic Version Of The Classic Game

I received the Rubik’s Slide to test out and do a product review.

The Rubik’s Slide is intended for children 8 and up. It is an electronic version of the original Rubik’s cube. The object of each puzzle is to rearrange the pattern of lights until they match the solution for that puzzle.

I tested it out first without reading the instructions. I quickly realized instructions were a must. I read them and tried again. I still couldn’t get the hang of it. I read the instructions again. I was able to win a few times in a row, but I didn’t really know why I was even winning.

I then had my husband test it out and he too read the instructions twice. He also felt the game was complicated.

Today my almost 8 year old nephew was over and I had him play with the game. I explained to him what the buttons meant. He won 3 times in a row and really enjoyed the game. He said it was hard not easy at all. He liked the fact that it made noises and would light up. He thought it was a cool game that could be played in the dark. My 3 year old nephew then needed to test it out since the big brother did. We didn’t get very far. My sister in law played with it for a bit and she said on a scale of 1-10 she gave it a zero and thought it was a horrible game. She felt it was too complicated and not easy to maneuver.
