Like everyone I know I am completely obsessed with lip balm. My husband thinks I’m nuts because I’m always buying new ones, acquiring ones, etc., I have a gazillion. And guess what? I have more!

The folks at Rimmel London knew how much I love lip balm that they sent me a few of their new Keep Calm and Lip Balms—the perfect lip product for hot summer days to add moisture and soften dry lips.

IMG_1063Seriously…. How cute are they? Right? But not only are they super cute and a great conversation piece but they are super moisturizing (which is the point, right?)

The Keep Calm and Lip Balms come in six shades and they each provide a slight tint and sheen while healing those dry cracked lips.

Available Shades:

  • Keep Calm and Shop: clear
  • Keep Calm and Kiss: pink blush
  • Keep Calm and Rock: berry blush
  • Keep Calm and Play: rose blush
  • Keep Calm and Party: violet blush

WHAT THEY COST: $2.50 (that’s a steal!)

WHERE TO FIND THEM: Chain drug stores and mass retailers nationwide.  Visit www.RimmelLondon.com for store locations.

Everyone’s Skin Deserves To Be Babied – Nourish Organics

Ok you all know I’m obsessed with bath & beauty products.

Recently I had the opportunity to try out Nourish Organics.

They are an organic skin care line that is run right from the heart of the south, Franklin, Tennessee. Their ingredient list is not long or confusing. What they put in their products is simple but effective. The entire line contains 99% or higher certified organic ingredients that are 100% natural.

Organic Lavender Wash

Cleanse, soothe and hydrate your baby’s delicate skin with this Organic Lavender Wash. Great to use right before bedtime to quiet and calm little minds. Use all over even as a shampoo.

Ingredients: saponified organic oils of coconut, olive & jojoba, organic glycerin/vegetable gum extract, organic aloe vera, lavender essential oils, rosemary extract

I completely loved this body wash. I personally love lavender. Especially right before I go to bed. This body wash lathers great and it’s minus any harsh ingredients. Bonus! The scent is truly amazing and perfect to help you wind down after a long day.

Organic Sweet Orange Lip Balm

Nourish your lips with the crisp taste, smell and feel of sweet orange! Nourish Organics lip balm is made with pure, organic shea butter and organic beeswax and is formulated to leave your lips feeling glad and moist, without that dreaded needy feeling thirty minutes later. The moisture is real and the flavor is fantastic!

Can you say creamsicle? This seriously smells and tastes like a creamsicle. If the lip balm is this amazing I’m going to have to order the Sweet Orange skin care ASAP.

I Love Softlips & MasterCard

I’m a lip balm junkie, but for some reason had never tested out Softlips.  Which is why I was so excited to win the Thrifty Chic Mom contest on Twitter.  Since I follow Softlips on Twitter and “Like” them on Facebook I know that they are loved and adored by many. I also know they have some pretty amazing flavors to choose from. Plus they have SPF 20. Woo Hoo!

Not only did I score a variety of Softlips products (Vanilla, Cherry, Strawberry, Wildberry, Raspberry and Mint) and a tee-shirt, but I also
received a MasterCard gift card for $50. Thank you MasterCard for my adorable new Boucle Yoke Dress from the Gap. It’s perfect for Fall.

Softlips comes in an abundance of yummy flavors and with SPF 20. They are super moisturizing and they are not bulky like many lip balms. They are nice and sleek and fit in just about anything. Softlips also carries tinted lip balms, glosses and organic products. Get yours today by visiting www.softlips.com.
