Recently I had the opportunity to try out Nourish Organics.

 

 

They are an organic skin care line that is run right from the heart of the south, Franklin, Tennessee. Their ingredient list is not long or confusing. Organic Lavender Wash

I completely loved this body wash. I personally love lavender. Especially right before I go to bed. This body wash lathers great and it’s minus any harsh ingredients. Bonus! The scent is truly amazing and perfect to help you wind down after a long day.

Oprah Winfrey is a huge fan of the brand and how could she not? Carlos Huber Founder of ARQUISTE travelled the world and experienced perfumery from Spain to Paris to New York and places in between.

 

Recently I had the opportunity to sample some of the fragrances from ARQUISTE which are available at Barney’s New York, The Webster in Miami, Saks Fifth Avenue Mexico and A’Maree’s in Newport Beach, CA.

 

According to Arquiste: A scent is a time capsule. It can invoke our most intimate memories and dreams, and open doors to distant worlds. Curated by an architect specializing in Historic Preservation, Arquiste is a fragrance collection that transports the wearer to evocative moments in history.

 

Anima Dulcis

Notes include: Cocoa Absolute, Mexican Vanilla, Cinnamon, and Chili Infusion

Reminds me of Amber or Sandalwood the notes are right on.

 

L’etrog

Notes include: Calabrese Cedrat, Myrtle, Date Fruit and Vetivert

I found this scent very woodsy and masculine.

 

Aleksandr

Notes include: Neroli, Violet Leaf, Fir Balsam, and Russian Leather

I did not like this scent at all. It was very masculine and strong. Eventually it lightened up a bit and I was able to smell the violet more.

 

Flor y canto

Notes include: Mexican Tuberose, Magnolia, Plumeria, Marigold

This is definitely a more girly fragrance. I liked the plumeria and magnolia in it. It kind of reminded me of the Plumeria from Bath and Body Works which used to be a favorite of mine.

 

Fleur de Louis

Notes include: Orange Blossom, Florentine Orris, Jasmine, White Cedar wood

Another flowery scent and girly. Very rich fragrance. Something I would wear to a gala or special event.

 

Infanta en flor

Notes include: Orange Flower Water, Spanish Leather, Cistus resin, Immortelle

For some reason this fragrance reminded me of childhood trips to Disneyworld. Not quite sure why but it brought back memories. I liked this scent a lot as well.

I’ve been a fan of Burt’s Bee’s for a number of years. I mean who isn’t. So when I heard the Burt’s Bee’s came out with a new line called gud I had to check them out. The folks at gud were kind enough to gift me with a few products from their new line to test out.

 

When I received the product I was overjoyed with how cute it came. The packaging was adorable. Presentation is so important!

 

Included in my product kit was the Floral Cherrynova Body Mist, Orange Petalooza Body Lotion and the Vanilla Flame Body Wash.

 

The Floral Cherrynova is exactly what you would expect flowery with hints of cherry and almond milk. It’s a very light fresh fragrance and lasts all day.

 

The Vanilla Flame Body Wash was super moisturizing and gave a great lather. I love a body wash with a great lather. Maybe its me but I always feel like the better the lather the cleaner you get. The Vanilla Flame smells like vanilla mixed with flowers. The folks at gud say “Smell like an angel. (Not to be confused with acting like one.)”

 

Last but not least the Orange Petalooza….YUMMMM! This fragrance was hands down my absolute fave! I’m a huge citrus fan especially for my morning showers (I prefer lavender at night to wind down). It is the perfect mix of vibrant orange and soft hyacinth. The perfect wake me up!

 

I’ve gotta tell you I loved the Orange Petalooza so much that I headed on over to my local Ulta to purchase a few bottles of the Orange Petalooza body wash. I love citrusy scents especially in the morning. They are such a great energizer. Especially in the summer! Citrus scents are my go-to summer scent.

I’ve been using the Clean & Clear Blackhead Eraser Scrub for years.

 

But recently I had the opportunity to try their body wash BOOST w/ Mango & Papaya. Clean & Clear never ceases to amaze me. Every product I try is simply better than the next.
